[Occupation Series No. 9]
Inside Leprosy sanatorium- The past and future of Hanasaki Nursery School -
*The event has ended.
Hanasaki Nursery School is located within Tama Zenshoen, a national Leprosy sanatorium. This is a licensed nursery school that moved from Higashimurayama City to Tama Zenshoen in 2012 in response to the enactment of the 2009 Act on the Promotion of the Resolution to the Issues Related to Hansen's Disease.
At this year's 9th The National Hansen's Disease Museum Vocational Series lecture, we invited Ko Morita, who has been the director of Hanasaki Nursery School since 2012, to talk about the history and rich greenery of Tama Zenshoen. In this session, we will talk mainly about the history of fostering interactions between residents and nursery school children.
