Request from the Museum
The National Hansen's Disease Museum was established by people who had recovered from Hansen's disease. We are collecting, preserving and exhibiting evidence of the lives of leprosy patients and former patients, hoping that the same mistakes will not be repeated in our society.
We request that all visitors to the National Hansen's Disease Museum observe the following guidelines so that the important materials can be protected and passed on.
