Smoking is not permitted inside the museum.

Do not take photos or record videos in the exhibition hall. To take photographs of the tour, fill out the form at the reception desk. Consult our business section for taking photographs of exhibit materials.

Most of the materials displayed are real, and the reproductions are fragile. Do not touch the exhibits as it may cause staining or damage of the exhibits. Items that can be touched are indicated.

You may bump into people or display cases. Walk slowly around the museum as the items may be damaged if you run into the display cases while running.

Please move around the museum quietly so that other visitors can also see the museum with a good feeling.

There is a risk that large luggage items may bump into materials, display cases, or other people. Please use the coin-operated lockers placed at the back of Lobby 1 on the first floor and at the entrance to the video hall (coins will be returned after the lockers have been used). Please place your umbrellas at the stand at the main entrance so that materials and books in the exhibition rooms and library do not get wet or damaged, and people around you do not feel uncomfortable.

Please do not bring pets into the museum, as they may bring insects or shed their hair (excluding guide and service dogs). We cannot keep your pets in the museum.

Refrain from bringing dangerous items or flammable materials to the museum, as it may cause a fire.
