1929（昭和4）年生まれ。埼玉県出身

1950（昭和25）年に多磨全生園に入所。不自由舎の臨時付添を勤めた

1996（平成8）年、視力の低下とともに多磨盲人会へ入会

2001（平成13）年から2003（平成15）年まで同会長を務める。短歌を趣味とし、機関誌『多磨』に毎月投稿している。
