[Event report] The world of reading session “Blue Me” Graduation essay collection in a sanatorium
*The event has ended.

As a related event to the ongoing special exhibition "'Blue Me' Print Exhibition - 'Everyday' Scenery Sculpted by Tama Zenshoen Students -" (3/2-4/29), actor Satoshi Nakajima, Tatsu Sato (Gekidan Momouta 309) and Maho Yamanishi (Gekidan Momouta 309) have written essays and poems by children who spent their junior high school days in a branch classroom at Tama Zenshoen, as well as essays by assistant teachers. 29 stories were read aloud.Due to a distribution problem on the day of the event, the start of the event was significantly delayed, which caused a great deal of inconvenience. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who waited for the start of the live broadcast and participated.
I didn't take a survey that day, but I heard comments like, ``It sounds like middle school students talking there,'' and ``My face has no words.'' ” ``The words of the children were alive.'' ``The works that touched my heart conveyed the situation at that time. I was able to learn concretely that there were adults who supported the children even under these circumstances.'' We received comments such as ``I'm glad I did.'' (excerpt). We are now releasing the live streaming recording video of the day as an archive video.

Explanation of the exhibits by the curator

The curator in charge gave a live talk from the exhibition venue about the appeal of the works and the "daily lives" of junior high school students that each motif tells. In the after-talk, a young curatorial staff member also introduced a "curious photo." You can watch the recording of the day on YouTube.
