Speaker: Kimie Yamauchi

Born in 1934 (Showa 9). Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. Disease onset in elementary school

She entered Tama Zenshoen in January 1957, and married Sada Yamauchi in November of the same year. He learned how to write by attending a cripple school, and began literary arts such as haiku and gogyo poems.He also took up handicrafts such as rattan work as a hobby despite having a crippled hand.

In 1974 (Showa 49), he joined the Buddhist group within Inside the sanatorium.

Adopted a daughter in 1998

Returned to society in 2005 (Heisei 17)

I lost my husband in 2011 (Heisei 23) and re-entered Tama Zenshoen in the same year.

We will continue to interact with Hanasaki Nursery School, which opened in 2012. Currently living at Tama Zenshoen
