Mr. Fuyuki Yamakawa has created a video work "Akimikikitarite" with the motif of the poet Masaishi Mou, who was a resident of Oshimaseishoen Seishoen. He is widely known for his video work Kaikyo no Uta, in which he swam to his destination.
These works were exhibited at the Setouchi International Art Festival held at Oshimaseishoen in 2016 and 2019.
In this lecture, I would like to hear from Mr. Fuyuki Yamakawa about his thoughts on creating these works and his encounter with the Issues related to leprosy.

Artist/Khoomei singer
Born in London in 1973.
He works beyond the boundaries of music, contemporary art, and performing arts with expressions that appeal to the senses of sight, hearing, and skin.
She specializes in performances that use technology to expand her own body into sound and light, as well as the traditional Tuvan song "khoomei," and has performed in 16 countries to date.
In the field of contemporary art, ``The Voice-over,'' an installation that deals with the memory of voices surrounding mass media and individuals, sold the ownership of the syllable ``pa'' that he utters to an art collector for 1 million yen. He has released works such as ``Pa'' Nisshiment'' (2011-present), which is a performance created by doing.
Since participating in the Setouchi Triennale, he has been continuing his fieldwork at Oshimaseishoen Oshimaseishoen where he has so far presented two installation works that are now on permanent display.
