講話者：平野 智（ひらの さとる）さん
1939（昭和14）年生まれ。愛知県出身
小学6年生の時にハンセン病と宣告され、国立駿河療養所へ入所
1956（昭和31）年邑久高校新良田教室に2期生として入学、卒業後に社会復帰
病気を悪くし、駿河療養所を経て、1965（昭和40）年多磨全生園へ入所
昭和40年代には全患協で働く
少年期から野球などのスポーツが趣味で、テニスは今も続けている。自分より高齢の入所者のお見舞いやお世話で忙しい日々を送っている
