Hansen's Disease Sanatoriums of Today
[Date]
April 26, 2008(soil)From June 29th(Day)
This is a special exhibition introducing the current state of Leprosy sanatorium across the country (13 national and 2 private, a total of 15 facilities). We hope that this exhibition will encourage people to reconsider questions such as "What kind of places were Leprosy sanatorium in the past?", "How have they changed now?", and "What will happen in the future?"
We would be most pleased if, as a result of visiting this special exhibition, you have become interested in the current situation in Leprosy sanatorium and have an idea, no matter how small, of what you can do to help.

▽ Lecture Series
"Talking about the history of sanatoriums" (4-part series)
This is a series of lectures about the history of the four sanatoriums, given by people who have been residents of each facility.
The current state of the sanatorium is the result of many years of efforts by residents to make improvements. It is useful to understand its historical background in order to understand the current state of the sanatorium and to consider its future.
