About the library
国立ハンセン病資料館では、ハンセン病問題や人権問題に関する図書資料を収集しております。
当館図書室所蔵資料は寄贈された資料が多く、書き込みや附箋などをそのままで所蔵している場合がありますのでご了承ください。
毎月第三週目の木曜日は資料整理のためClosed roomI will.

Services available in the library
■ 図書資料の貸出について
The library offers an external lending service for materials in its collection.
貸出の初回利用時には利用者登録が必要です。Confirmation of your name and address（運転免許証・健康保険証など）をご持参いただき、図書室カウンターにてお申込みください。
学校等の団体でご利用の場合は、貸出申込書の氏名欄に団体名とご担当者様のお名前を、住所欄に団体の所在地をご記入の上お申し込み下さい（web検索で団体の所在が確認できる場合、証明書は必要ありません）。
郵送による貸出しサービスもご利用いただけます。詳しくは下記「郵送による貸出サービス開始のお知らせ」をご覧ください。
貸出期間 ： 4週間（延長については個別にご相談ください）
貸出資料数 ： 5点まで
貸出延長 ： 貸出中の書籍に予約者がいない場合に限り、返却予定日から4週間を期限として貸出延長を行うことができます。

返却について
返却BOXはございません。返却の際はご来館いただくか、下記郵送先までご郵送ください。郵送の場合、送料は利用者にご負担いただきます。配送業者の指定はございません。
発送の際は、資料が傷まないように梱包してください。
レターパックを使用される場合は厚さ・重量にご注意ください。

■ 療養所機関誌等検索アーカイブについて
Near the entrance of the library reading room, there is a terminal where you can search for journals published by each National leprosy sanatorium and newspaper articles related to Hansen's Disease. You can search the table of contents and articles, and browse PDF data of some magazines.
About the rental service by mail
The library offers a loan service for materials by mail.
貸出期間 ： 4週間（貸出の発送日から返却の発送日までで計算）
貸出資料数 ： 5点まで
貸出延長 ： 貸出中の書籍に予約者がいない場合に限り、返却予定日から4週間を期限として貸出延長を行うことができます。
■ お申込方法
【利用者登録がお済みでない方】
Please fill in the required items on the loan application form, attach a copy of your name and address (driver's license, health insurance card, etc.) and send it by registered mail to the following mailing address. Lending is also accepted at the same time as user registration.
If you are using a group such as a school, please enter the name of the group and the name of the person in charge in the name field of the loan application form, and the location of the group in the address field (search the web for the group). If you can confirm your location, you do not need a certificate).

About duplication
Photocopying services are available in the reading room of the library.
複写をご利用の場合は、 図書室カウンターにございます複写申込書に必要事項をご記入いただき、スタッフの確認を得た後に利用者ご本人に行っていただきます。
複写できる範囲は以下の通りです。
図書資料 : 個々の作品の半分以下 (短編集も同様)。
論文集 : 個々の論文の半分以下。
雑誌 : 最新号は複写できません (最新号とは、図書室所蔵の最新号とします)。
バックナンバーは個々の論文・記事の全部。
複写料金
B5・A4・B4 モノクロ1枚10円、カラー1枚 20円
A3 モノクロ1枚20円、カラー1枚 40円
About video materials
In the library, you can watch video materials in the reading room.
閲覧室のDVDコーナーよりご希望の映像資料をお選びいただき、カウンターでお申込みください。
一部映像資料は貸出が可能です。貸出の可否については蔵書検索システムでお調べいただくか、メールまたはFAXまたはお電話にて図書室までお問い合わせください。
About references
Please ask the staff at the counter for references (including questions and consultations) regarding the materials in our collection. We also accept inquiries by e-mail, fax or telephone.
