Umitaro Abe, who came into contact with the music of Koichi Kondo, who formed the harmonica band "Aoi Tori Gakudan" with a friend of a blind man on the occasion of his connection with Nagashima-Aiseien, a Leprosy sanatorium in the Seto Inland Sea, started activities to follow in his footsteps. "Aoi Tori no Harmonica" started in 2019. Mr. Kondo also participated in "Inochi no Sprouts" under the name of Koji Kojima, and left a great mark on both literature and music. In this concert, through performances by Mr. Abe and Mr. Takeo Toyama, and reading and vocals by Ms. Itsuko Toma, we will deliver the words of poetry and the splendor of music born from a Leprosy sanatorium.
