Report on the 1st Video testimonials Screening

On Sunday, February 9, 2020, we held the first Video testimonials screening "Everyone from Tama Zenshoen en Rehabilitation Department Pottery Room".
This video was filmed in 2006 about the stories of approximately 60 people from Japan and abroad, and is currently on display in the permanent exhibition room 3, `` Video testimonials Corner.'' In order to provide a deeper understanding of the testimonies, we have decided to periodically introduce Video testimonials along with explanations from curators. In the first session, we introduced the members of Tama Zenshoen Rehabilitation Department Pottery Room along with the progress of the pottery room.
We would like to thank all our enthusiastic customers for visiting us on the day. We would like to introduce the opinions and impressions from the customers who participated.

  • It made me think about living. I wondered if it was a place for self-expression at the end of everyone's bright perspective in the video.
  • I was impressed by the words of the person who made Totoro, "It is important to find a purpose in life with the remaining functions."
  • If there is a commentary from the curator, the background can be understood more by the words, Video testimonials does not end, I feel that it was memorable as an experience. I'm glad I participated in this time, even if I saw it before.
  • I've been to Mr. Kita's exhibition, and I'm glad to see the live video. The author of Totoro seemed to be a very friendly and difficult orator, and I felt that he was a very fun, quiet and strong person.
  • Mr. Matsuo Sasaki's words, "I'll do something with the remaining functions," left a lasting impression on me. We (I) now realize that we may have something like a treat because we often have some freedom.
  • There is no reason why ceramic works made by combining ingenuity and wisdom are not beautiful. I was pushed a lot by the glittering works and words.
  • I will go home after seeing the work again. I think that each work contains the person's thoughts, wishes, and way of life, so I decided to look at the work again while thinking about it.

In the future, I would like to consider a plan that many customers can participate in. We look forward to your participation.
